Sinch launches Agent Tools suite for AI‑assisted developer workflows
Sinch announced the release of Agent Tools, a new suite of developer‑focused integrations that work within popular coding environments such as Visual Studio Code, JetBrains IDEs and other Open VSX‑compatible editors. The suite includes a Simulator Mode that lets developers test Sinch API integrations directly from their IDE without creating an account or making live API calls, lowering the barrier to exploring the platform.
Agent Tools also provides built‑in support for AI coding assistants, including Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT Desktop, by exposing live, accurate Sinch API definitions through an MCP server. Structured product knowledge is delivered via Sinch Skills, covering configuration and implementation patterns. “AI‑assisted development tools are becoming a larger part of how software is built,” said David Kårfors, Vice President of Product Management & Product Platform at Sinch.
