Singer Jack's paternity lawsuit against Thien An postponed

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Court Area 2 has postponed the civil trial regarding a paternity dispute between singer Trịnh Trần Phương Tuấn (known as Jack) and Trần Nguyễn Thiên An. The postponement follows a request for absence submitted by the plaintiff, Tuấn.

In his lawsuit filed in March 2025, Tuấn requested the court to legally recognize a child, born in April 2021, as his biological offspring and asked that the defendant not prevent him from fulfilling his parental responsibilities.

In her written statement to the court, Thiên An expressed disagreement with all of the plaintiff's requests. She noted that as the plaintiff, the burden of proof lies with Tuấn. Additionally, she requested to be absent from legal proceedings, mediation, and hearings to focus on her work and childcare.
