Sinj increases kindergarten salaries as Kaštel Star prepares for Millennium Photographs

In Sinj, Mayor Miro Bulj has signed the fourth supplement to the collective agreement for employees in local kindergartens. This agreement results in a 16.67 percent salary increase, with a new gross base of 1,025 euros effective from September 1, 2026. The increase applies to educators, professional staff, and auxiliary personnel.

Mayor Bulj noted that since the beginning of his mandate, salaries for kindergarten employees have increased by more than 130 percent. Alongside wage adjustments, the city is expanding childcare capacity, increasing the number of kindergarten groups from 29 to 47 through various local projects.

Additionally, in Kaštel Star, the City of Kaštela and the Bijaći Primary School have announced the recording of the 1,000th and 1,001st Millennium Photographs by Šime Strikoman. The event is scheduled for October 2, 2026, at the Kaštel Star waterfront.
