Sinković brothers miss A final at World Rowing Championships

The Sinković brothers, Martin and Valent, failed to qualify for the A final at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam. Despite recording their fastest time of the championship (6:33.64) during the semifinals, they finished fourth in their heat.

In their semifinal group, they were overtaken in the final 1,000 meters by crews from the Netherlands, Serbia, and Spain. Consequently, the triple Olympic champions will compete in the B final to determine rankings between seventh and twelfth place.

Martin Sinković noted that the team faced various challenges during preparations, including health issues, but expressed pride in their effort. The B final is scheduled for Friday.
