Sistema FAEP expands AI training in U.S. and opens permanent instructor accreditation
A 40‑member delegation from Brazil's Sistema FAEP began a U.S. technical tour on 21 July, visiting California, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri to observe artificial‑intelligence and other digital tools applied to agriculture. The itinerary includes university labs, ag‑tech startups, farms and companies such as Valley Irrigation, the Lincoln Agricultural Research & Development Center and John Deere, showcasing AI‑driven soil mapping, plant health monitoring, automated irrigation and livestock behavior analysis.
In parallel, Sistema FAEP launched a permanent edit to certify legal entities as instructors for its rural education network in Paraná. The continuous selection will build a talent pool to support 259 courses across 47 areas of agribusiness, management and human development, adding to an existing roster of 426 qualified instructors. The program aims to speed up training delivery and reduce the need for new procurement processes for each course demand.
