Brazilian FAEP AI agriculture outreach

In late July 2026 a 40‑member FAEP delegation toured U.S. research labs, ag‑tech firms and farms, showcasing AI‑driven soil mapping, plant‑health monitoring, automated irrigation and livestock‑behavior analysis. Simultaneously FAEP launched a permanent accreditation system for rural‑education instructors in Paraná. A week later a Brazilian Army technical group visited FAEP’s Curitiba headquarters and then attended a St. Louis showcase of more than 620 generative‑AI solutions aimed at contract review, data analysis and other office‑level tasks, reinforcing military‑agricultural ties and expanding FAEP’s training portfolio.

In early August Army officers attended a high‑level policy course, received briefings on the strategic role of the Porto de Paranaguá and on Paraná’s agro‑production, including drone operations and technical courses. FAEP hosted the Agroleite 2026 fair in Castro, drawing hundreds of dairy producers, over 800 agricultural‑college students and caravans from 17 rural unions for technology demonstrations and farmer education.

A third FAEP delegation of 40 leaders (representing 31 unions) arrived in San Francisco for a five‑day U.S. tour of universities, technology firms and farms across California, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. The group examined precision‑ag tools such as AI‑driven pest control, automated irrigation, soil‑mapping and telemetry, with the goal of transferring these innovations to Paraná farms and boosting profitability.
