Sister Act Musical returns to Milan's Teatro Nazionale

The musical “Sister Act” is set to inaugurate the 2026/2027 season at the Teatro Nazionale Italiana Assicurazioni in Milan, beginning October 8, 2026. Following a successful 2022 run that drew over 80,000 spectators, the production returns with the same creative team, including director Chiara Noschese.

This new edition features a dual casting approach for the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier. Gloria Enchill, who starred in the 2022 production, will share the role with Speranza Tesoro, a rising talent from the new generation of Italian musical performers. According to director Chiara Noschese, this pairing is intended to foster growth within the industry by allowing young artists to perform alongside experienced professionals.

Produced by Compagnia della Rancia under license from Music Theatre International, the show features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater. The production is based on the 1992 film of the same name.
