Sister Act musical production in Milan

Overview

The musical ‘Sister Act’ is scheduled to inaugurate the 2026/2027 season at Milan’s Teatro Nazionale Italiana Assicurazioni, running from October 8, 2026, through mid-January 2027.

Produced by Compagnia della Rancia, the production is an adaptation of the Broadway version featuring music by Alan Menken. The production employs a dual casting approach for the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier. Gloria Enchill, who performed in the 2022 production, will begin the run in October, followed by newcomer Speranza Tesoro, who will perform during November, December, and January. Director Chiara Noschese stated that this pairing is intended to allow young talent to grow alongside experienced professionals.
