Sivas farmers begin grain harvest and threshing

In Sivas, Turkey, the grain harvest has commenced, leading to increased activity in rural areas. Farmers in various villages have begun the threshing process, which involves separating wheat from its stalks and straw.

Despite high temperatures reaching 32 degrees Celsius, farmers are working late into the day to ensure they secure enough wheat for food and straw for livestock winter feed. Local officials noted that spring rains have contributed to a productive and bountiful season. In Olukman village, farmers are utilizing both modern harvesting tools and traditional methods to process the crops.
