Six arrested after knife and weapon clash in Bucharest residential complex

On the evening of 15 June, police from Secţia 26 responded to a disturbance at a residential complex on Bulevardul Metalurgiei in Bucharest. Officers heard a loud impact and discovered a melee involving multiple individuals. Six people were immobilised by the police and taken for questioning. Investigators recovered a pistol with caps, an axe and a knife, and identified two damaged cars that had been involved in the altercation.

A moped rider was struck during the chaos, sustaining injuries that required hospital treatment. The incident prompted a temporary road closure while the scene was secured, and the investigation continues to determine the exact circumstances of the conflict.
