Six Romanian counties to hold joint regional exam simulations

School inspectorates from six counties in the Moldova region of Romania—Bacău, Botoșani, Iași, Neamț, Suceava, and Vaslui—have agreed to organize a joint regional simulation for the National Evaluation and Baccalaureate exams.

The simulation is scheduled to take place from December 7 to December 9, 2026. The initiative aims to establish uniform organizational rules, including the development of subjects, exam administration, and result centralization, to ensure students across all six counties are evaluated under comparable conditions.

In Suceava, specific procedures will be implemented for the Ukrainian mother tongue. The results of these simulations are intended to serve as a diagnostic tool for teachers and students, helping to identify specific learning difficulties and competencies that require reinforcement before the official national examination sessions in 2027.
