Skai TV's 'Dekatianoi' Morning Show Ends After Four Years

Veteran journalist Giannis Pittaras announced his departure from the Skai TV morning program "Dekatianoi" during the season finale on 26 July 2026, ending a four‑year stint on the show. He stated, "The show does not end – it continues, a very nice journey that lasted four years," and indicated he will remain at Skai in a different role. Co‑host George Grigoriadis responded humorously, assuring viewers that both will stay on the same floor of the station.

The change is part of a broader reshuffle at Skai. Akis Pavlopoulos has also left the network, while Dimitris Oikonomou continues on "Simeras" alongside new partner Giannis Pittaras. From 27 July, the programmes "Morning Information" and "ONLINE" will air daily with a refreshed presenter lineup. Apostolos Maggiaridis joins the midday news bulletin, and Lena Flitzani remains the chief anchor after taking over from former anchor Kosioni. Additionally, journalist Pavlos Tsimas is slated to move to the Mega channel.

These adjustments aim to sustain Skai's weekend news block into the next season despite the departure of the original "Dekatianoi" team.
