Söke initiates urban transformation in historic Kemalpaşa neighborhood

Urban transformation projects are underway in the historic Kemalpaşa neighborhood of Söke to revitalize the area for tourism, gastronomy, and social life. Led by Söke Mayor Dr. Mustafa İberya Arıkan, the initiative focuses on preserving the district's cultural identity while creating new economic opportunities.

Key components of the project include the restoration of historical buildings, such as the Gravas Evi (formerly the Old Workshop), which is being prepared to serve as a restaurant. There are also plans to establish a Pizza House in the backyard of the Dalgıç Konağı.

Additionally, landscaping and afforestation efforts are progressing at a site opposite the Uzbek Konağı to establish an organic product market. These developments aim to support local producers and transform the neighborhood into a major attraction for both residents and visitors.
