Ski Resorts in Argentina and Chile Introduce New Prices and Attractions for 2026 Winter Season

Ski resorts in Argentina's Mendoza province announced higher winter‑season rates for 2026. Las Leñas raised its daily adult lift ticket to 180,000 pesos, with a family‑week pass at 945,000 pesos, while nearby Penitentes and Los Puquios offered lower‑cost options ranging from 50,000 to 80,000 pesos per day. The resorts noted that total trip costs will also include lodging, transport, equipment rental and food.

In Chile, the Nevados de Chillán ski area prepared for the same season by adding family‑focused attractions. New facilities include a 15 × 25 m ice‑skating rink, a modern zip‑line crossing the tubing area, a traditional tubing lane, and a 45‑metre “magic carpet” lift for beginners. Managers said the upgrades aim to boost visitor numbers despite a modest early snowfall that has delayed ski‑run openings.

Both operators expect the enhancements and pricing adjustments to sustain high occupancy rates during the June‑September winter holidays.
