Skoda Auto posts strong first‑half 2026 sales and profit growth

Skoda Auto reported a 6.4% rise in production to 609,300 vehicles in the January–June period and a 9.1% increase in deliveries to 555,700 units, with 468,300 sold in Europe, keeping the brand in second place on the continent. Operating profit grew 6.3% to €1.366 billion and revenue to €16.015 billion, maintaining an 8.5% sales margin. Investments rose 5.4% to €825 million, and shipments to Germany reached a record 120,400 units, almost a 20% jump.

Sales gains were recorded in the Czech Republic (+6.9% to 48,900), the United Kingdom (+6.6% to 46,600) and India (+7.4% to 35,700). The Octavia remained the top model with 96,500 units sold, followed by the Kodiaq (74,600) and Kamiq (65,400). Electric vehicle deliveries surged 48.3% to 108,200 units, led by the Elroq (59,900) which ranked third in Europe and topped the German and Danish markets, and the Enyaq, which placed fourth. Plug‑in hybrid sales rose 11.8% to 24,100 units. Cash flow improved 14.3% to €1.7 billion. The new Epiq electric model launched in May, and the Peaq SUV is slated for production in Spain and Italy.
