Škoda begins production of new electric SUV models Peaq and Epiq

Škoda has commenced production of its new electric SUV models, the Peaq and the Epiq. The Peaq, a large seven-seater flagship, is being manufactured at the company’s Mladá Boleslav plant. It is designed to compete in the large family SUV segment, offering a battery capacity of up to 91 kWh and a range exceeding 600 kilometers.

The Epiq serves as a more compact, entry-level electric SUV, measuring approximately 4.17 meters in length. Unlike the Peaq, the Epiq is assembled in Landaben, Spain, as it shares a platform with the Volkswagen ID. Cross.

In Norway, Škoda is launching a promotional tour across 19 dealerships to showcase these models. The Peaq is positioned as a high-capacity vehicle for families, while the Epiq targets the urban and commuter market. Early interest in the Peaq has been noted, with reports indicating significant pre-order numbers.
