Skoda launches facelifted Slavia sedan in India
Skoda Auto India has launched the facelifted version of its Slavia sedan, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹9.99 lakh. The updated lineup includes six variants: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo, with the top-tier Monte Carlo 1.5 TSI DSG version priced at ₹18.84 lakh.
A significant mechanical update is the introduction of a new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission for the 1.0-liter TSI engine, making it the first in its segment to offer this configuration. The 1.5-liter TSI engine remains paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic. The 1.0-liter engine also remains available with a six-speed manual option.
Design enhancements include a revamped lighting setup featuring LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and sequential rear turn indicators, alongside a new grille and updated alloy wheels. Interior upgrades feature refreshed themes, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster in higher trims, and a 25.6-centimeter touchscreen infotainment system. Notable new features include a rear-seat massage function, a 360-degree camera, and an AI-powered voice assistant.
