Skoda launches Peaq, its first 7‑seat electric SUV with up to 640 km range
Skoda unveiled the Peaq, a 7‑seat electric SUV that measures 4.87 m in length and sits on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform. The model is offered in two powertrains: the Peaq 60 rear‑wheel‑drive with a 59 kWh battery delivering about 204 hp and a claimed 450 km WLTP range, and the Peaq 90x all‑wheel‑drive with a 86 kWh battery, 300 hp and up to 610 km range. Prices start around €50,000 for the base version. The vehicle’s interior features a 13.6‑inch vertical touchscreen running Android Automotive, optional Sonos‑branded audio, a panoramic glass roof, and a “Relax” package with heated, ventilated and massaging seats. Cargo capacity reaches 935 L in a five‑seat layout and 299 L with seven seats. Pre‑orders begin in Italy in July through Contauto dealerships in Caserta and Teverola, while a pre‑launch preview was held at Skoda’s headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic.
