Skoda launches limited 50‑unit booking for Kodiaq RS SUV in India

Skoda has opened bookings for the new Kodiaq RS performance SUV in India, accepting a token payment of 300,000 rupees. The launch is limited to just 50 units, with the first batch sold out within six minutes of the booking window opening.

The Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0‑litre turbocharged petrol engine delivering 265 PS (261 hp) and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7‑speed DSG automatic and all‑wheel drive. Skoda claims 0‑100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 231 km/h. The model will be offered in four exterior colours – Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red and Steel Grey – and features a full‑black interior with red accent stitching, a 12.9‑inch touchscreen, a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 725 W Canton sound system, panoramic sunroof, three‑zone climate control and a suite of safety equipment including nine airbags and driver‑assistance systems.

Pricing has not been announced, but analysts expect an ex‑showroom price above 5 million rupees, positioning the Kodiaq RS as a premium, high‑performance SUV in the Indian market.
