Skoda Peaq electric SUV interior unveiled ahead of 2026 launch

Skoda has revealed the interior of its upcoming seven‑seat electric SUV, the Peaq, ahead of the model’s global launch slated for 23 June 2026. The design follows the brand’s minimalist ‘Modern Solid’ language, featuring a Volvo‑style vertical infotainment screen, a floating centre console and physical switches for climate, audio and other functions. “Skoda puts the customer at the centre, designing a seamless user experience that connects the usability of the physical seven‑seat interior with the digital experience around it, ensuring intuitive interaction and reducing complexity,” said Chan Park, head of UX and interior design.

The cabin uses durable, easy‑care materials, ergonomically shaped armrests and magnetic wireless docks for smartphones. Pricing is expected to start at about £46,000, positioning the Peaq against rivals such as the Peugeot E‑5008, Mercedes GLB and Kia EV9. The model has already completed over 1.5 million km of testing ahead of its market debut.

The Peaq will sit above Skoda’s entry‑level Epiq and the EV‑powered Elroq and Enyaq in the brand’s electric lineup, marking the second vehicle fully designed under the new design language introduced with the Elroq.
