Škoda Auto India announces price hikes and Slavia facelift launch

Škoda Auto India has announced a price revision across its entire passenger vehicle portfolio, effective October 1, 2026. Due to rising input and operational costs, ex-showroom prices will increase by up to 1.2%, with the maximum hike capped at ₹20,000 per vehicle. Affected models include the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia, Kodiaq, Octavia RS, and Superb.

In tandem with the price adjustment, the company is launching the updated Slavia facelift on October 6, 2026. Production for the new sedan has already commenced at the Chakan manufacturing facility in Pune. The facelifted Slavia will feature design updates, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 360-degree camera, and a new 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre TSI engine.

These developments follow a period of strong growth for the brand in India. Škoda reported its highest-ever first-half sales in 2026 and recorded 72,655 total units sold in 2025. The company has also surpassed 250,000 cumulative sales for its locally manufactured models, including the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Slavia.
