Skoda launches Peaq, its largest seven‑seat electric SUV
Skoda Auto unveiled the Peaq, a fully electric flagship SUV and the biggest model the brand has ever built. The world premiere took place on 23 June 2026 at Monnetier‑Mornex near Geneva, and production will begin in the summer at the Mladá Boleslav plant.
The 4.87‑metre‑long vehicle sits on a 2.96‑metre wheelbase and can accommodate up to seven passengers. Luggage capacity reaches 935 L with the third‑row seats folded and a 37‑L front trunk. Two battery packs are offered – a 63 kWh unit delivering 150 kW (Peaq 60) with about 450 km range, and a 91 kWh unit delivering 210 kW (Peaq 90) with more than 630 km range; an all‑wheel‑drive version (Peaq 90x) adds 220 kW and a claimed 600 km range.
Key technological highlights include a vertical 13.6‑inch Android infotainment screen, flush‑fitting door handles, a panoramic glass roof with electro‑chromic shading, V2L/V2H/V2G bidirectional charging, one‑pedal driving and the Travel Assist 3.0 driver‑assist suite. Optional packages add massage seats, ergonomic leg rests and a 755‑W Sonos sound system with 16 speakers.
Pricing starts at 1.15 million Czech korunas (≈ 49 900 EUR) for the base Peaq 60 and rises to about 1.525 million CZK for top‑spec models. The model is positioned as the premium electric alternative to Skoda’s Kodiaq, aiming to broaden the brand’s EV portfolio and attract larger families.
