Skopje infrastructure receives major energy and capital investments

Several major infrastructure and capital investments are underway in Skopje. The University Clinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is undergoing a 92.7 million denar reconstruction. Funded by the World Bank and the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF), the project focuses on energy efficiency, including thermal insulation, LED lighting, and the replacement of fuel oil heating with high-efficiency heat pumps.

Pivara Skopje has inaugurated a new multi-level parking garage valued at 2.8 million euros. The facility provides over 400 parking spaces to improve operational efficiency and safety within the production complex.

Additionally, the City of Skopje has allocated a total of 45 million denars for the reconstruction of the Vodno cable car, which has been out of service for several months. The funds aim to improve technical safety and functionality. The city is also implementing urban improvements, including the legalization of a pedestrian crossing at Bit-pazar and the procurement of 100 electric buses to modernize public transport.
