Sky launches mobile telephony services via MVNO model

Sky has expanded its service offerings by introducing Sky Mobile, operating as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). The service utilizes wholesale agreements with Vodafone and Fastweb to provide 5G coverage with speeds reaching up to 2 Gbps.

The mobile plans include two primary tiers: Sky Mobile Maxi at €7.90 per month, which provides 150 GB of 5G data, and Sky Mobile Ultra at €9.90 per month, which provides 250 GB of 5G data. Existing Sky TV or Sky Wifi customers are eligible for data increases, such as doubling the Maxi plan to 250 GB or upgrading the Ultra plan to unlimited data at the same monthly price. All subscriptions require a €10 activation fee and an initial top-up equal to the monthly fee.
