Czech Republic infrastructure: D35 construction and Prague road works

Various infrastructure projects and road maintenance works are underway across the Czech Republic. In Prague, the Lochkov and Cholupický tunnels on the Prague Ring Road are scheduled for maintenance, which will involve several week-long closures. Additionally, extensive surface replacement on Cínovecká street is set to begin in late October, impacting traffic toward the city center.

On a national level, a consortium of Budimex and Firesta-Fišer has secured a contract worth 1.066 billion CZK to construct the Úlibice bypass and a new interchange on the D35 highway, with work expected to start this year. Other regional updates include road repairs in Náchod, new one-way traffic regulations in Kroměříž to improve school safety, and various local closures affecting bus and train services in Žatec and Slavkov.

In Libeň, efforts to complete the U Loděnice bridge are resuming as the Technical Administration of Communications seeks a construction firm.
