Slovak citizen killed in fatal multi-stage accident in Serbia

A Slovak citizen was killed in a tragic sequence of events on a highway near Belgrade, Serbia, on October 2. The incident began around 6:15 a.m. when a chain reaction collision involving three vehicles—two BMWs and a Dacia Duster—occurred near the Banovci and Batajnica interchanges.

Following the initial crash, the Slovak driver reportedly exited his vehicle unharmed to collect debris from the roadway. Shortly after, he was struck by a passing truck. Emergency services arrived at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead by doctors at approximately 6:30 a.m. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident, which also caused significant traffic disruptions in the area.
