Slovak Foreign Minister conducts diplomatic talks with Germany and Montenegro
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár has engaged in high-level diplomatic activities focused on European security and regional integration. In Bratislava, Blanár met with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul to discuss bilateral relations, trade, and cooperation within NATO. The discussions covered the situations in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as economic competitiveness and energy costs. Blanár highlighted Germany as a vital economic partner, noting that 20 percent of Slovak exports are directed to the German market.
Additionally, Blanár is scheduled to visit Montenegro as part of the Slavkov Format, alongside foreign ministers from the Czech Republic and Austria. The mission aims to reaffirm support for Montenegro’s accession to the European Union. The delegation will meet with Montenegrin leadership to discuss the EU accessions process, regional stability, hybrid threats, and infrastructure development, including visits to cyber security centers.
