Slovakia launches new online services for 16 life situations
The National Agency for Network and Electronic Services (NASES) has launched new online services designed to simplify administrative procedures for 16 priority life situations in Slovakia. Part of the state's modernization efforts under the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the initiative introduces three interconnected solutions to help citizens find services, complete forms, and submit applications via computer or mobile devices.
A new service locator directs users to the correct electronic submission without requiring them to know which specific authority is responsible. The updated electronic forms are designed to guide users step-by-step, displaying only relevant information and automatically hiding unnecessary questions based on user responses. To reduce errors, the system checks data accuracy in real-time and provides explanations for individual fields.
Furthermore, the system allows for the automatic pre-filling of certain data from available state resources to minimize repetitive entry. The modernization also streamlines the submission process, enabling citizens to complete forms, attach necessary documents, sign electronically, and submit them to the relevant office in one place. For services requiring fees, the system will also support online payments.
