Slovenia and Bosnia offer training programs for unemployed persons

Slovenia has announced a public call for social and disability enterprises to participate in the 'Učne delavnice+' program. This initiative, co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus, provides 488 euros per month per participant to cover training costs. The five-month practical training program is designed for unemployed individuals facing barriers such as long-term unemployment or health issues, aiming to improve work habits and employability through mentorship.

In Sarajevo, the Centar Municipality has launched a public call to co-finance the retraining and upskilling of unemployed residents. With a budget of 15,000 KM allocated for 2026, the program offers up to 2,500 KM per user for vocational education or retraining in licensed institutions. Eligible applicants must be between 18 and 55 years old and have resided in the municipality for at least one year. The funds cannot be used for language courses, IT training, or driver's license exams.
