Slovenia social and infrastructure development

Overview

Slovenia has initiated several domestic development projects focusing on housing and employment support. The Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia has contracted the construction of 450 public rental apartments in Kranj, Celje, and Mirna, with a total value exceeding 62 million euros. This includes a major 37 million euro residential project in Kranj and various planned developments in the Krško municipality.

In the labor sector, Slovenia has launched the ‘Učne delavnice+’ program. Co-financed by the European Union, this initiative provides monthly stipends to unemployed individuals facing barriers such as health issues to facilitate five months of practical training and mentorship.
