Slovenia national football team prepares for Scotland match

The Slovenian national football team is preparing for a Nations League B fixture against Scotland at Stožice Stadium. The upcoming match represents a critical opportunity for the team to remain in contention for staying in group B1, with a final decisive match scheduled for November 16 in Skopje.

Players such as Vanja Drkušić, who is currently on loan at Espanyol, and Žan Vipotnik, who remains with Swansea City despite transfer interest, are using the international break to regain competitive rhythm. The squad is focusing on thorough preparation and recovery following recent club commitments.

Historically, Slovenia has struggled against British national teams, recording only three wins in 20 matches against England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Specifically, Slovenia has yet to defeat Scotland in five attempts.
