Slovenian chefs achieve success in S. Pellegrino Young Chef Academy
Four young Slovenian chefs have qualified for the S. Pellegrino Young Chef Academy, a prestigious global culinary competition. Three chefs—Aljaž Resnik from Strelec, Jure Korent Vodnik from Vila Planinka, and Matija Cotič from Gredič—will represent Slovenia in the Southeast Europe and Mediterranean regional final in Bucharest this October.
Additionally, former MasterChef winner Bruno Šulman has qualified for the Northern Europe regional final, representing Denmark where he currently works.
Renowned chef Ana Roš Stojan has also received significant recognition, being named a member of the ‘seven sages,’ the prestigious seven-member judging panel for the grand final in Milan scheduled for autumn 2027. This appointment marks her return to the jury, having previously served in 2018.
