Slovenian government faces rising opposition after 100 days

Discussions regarding the first 100 days of Janez Janša's government highlight a growing divide in public support. Analysts note that the administration has seen an increase in both supporters and opponents, with more than half of those surveyed expressing opposition.

The political landscape is also being shaped by the upcoming quadruple referendum, which is viewed as a potential political signal to the ruling parties. Within the opposition, Robert Golob is emerging as a potential leader, bolstered by his decisive parliamentary presence. However, his standing may be influenced by upcoming court decisions regarding irregularities found by the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (KPK) in cases involving Bobnar, Karigador, and bribery allegations at Gen-I.

On the right, the relationship between the SDS, NSi, and Democrats remains a point of interest, specifically whether these parties act complementarily or if the smaller parties risk eroding the original voter base of the SDS.
