Slovenian tourism providers invited to Idrija and Soča Valley excursion

Tourism providers in Slovenia are invited to a professional excursion scheduled for September 14, 2026, focusing on the Idrija and Soča Valley regions. The program aims to showcase how local production, craftsmanship, culinary traditions, and nature can be integrated into a cohesive destination brand.

Participants will visit the Krn Farm to learn about local production and dairy tasting, followed by a visit to the Idrija Geopark and the Lace School to study the ‘Idrija’ collective brand. The itinerary also includes culinary experiences in Idrija and a visit to the ‘Iz Doline Soče’ collective brand in Tolmin to explore the importance of local provider networks.
