Smart #2 electric city car to debut at Paris Motor Show

Smart is preparing to relaunch its iconic micro‑car as the all‑electric Smart #2. The compact vehicle measures about 2.8 m in length, features wheels at the corners, and is built on the new ECA architecture with a Tridion Cell safety structure. It will be powered by a 35.7 kWh battery delivering roughly 80 hp and an estimated range of around 300 km, with fast‑charging from 10 % to 80 % in under 20 minutes and V2L capability. Production is set to take place in China, and the model will be unveiled publicly in October at the Paris Motor Show. Smart aims to bring the car to European markets by the end of 2024 or early 2025, pricing it at roughly €24,000.
