Smart returns to Argentina with new electric SUV lineup

Smart has officially returned to the Argentine market through Prestige Auto, introducing a new lineup of 100% electric vehicles. The brand is transitioning toward the electric SUV segment with two primary models: the smart #1 and the smart #3.

Developed through a global joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely, the vehicles feature designs from the Mercedes-Benz Global Design Team. The smart #1 is available in Pure, Pro, Pro+, and BRABUS versions. Entry-level models offer 272 CV and up to 420 km of autonomy (WLTP), while the BRABUS version features all-wheel drive, 428 CV, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

The smart #3 is a coupe-style SUV offered in Pro, Pro+, and BRABUS configurations. Its range varies from 325 km to 435 km (WLTP) depending on the battery, with the BRABUS version providing 428 CV and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds.

Both models have earned five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings and include advanced driver assistance systems such as emergency braking and lane keeping. Charging supports Type 2 / CCS2 connectors with fast charging up to 150 kW. In Argentina, prices start at $49,900 for the smart #1 Pure and reach $75,900 for the smart #3 BRABUS.
