Smart to launch #2 electric model in China this November

Smart is set to launch its new Smart #2 model in China starting in mid-November. The vehicle is a compact, two-door, two-seater electric car built on the brand's proprietary ECA electric platform.

Manufactured by Geely in Jinan, Shandong Province, the Smart #2 features a 60 kW rear-mounted electric motor and a 30 kWh CATL LFP battery, which provides an estimated range of approximately 250 km. The vehicle has a top speed of 140 km/h and a curb weight of 1,130 kg.

Before its commercial release, the model will make its official debut on October 12 at the Paris Motor Show.
