Smilegate updates ‘Eclipse: The Awakening’ with new cooperative dungeons

Smilegate has announced a major content update for its new MMORPG, ‘Eclipse: The Awakening’, developed by NPIXEL. The update introduces ‘Cooperative Battle’, a new instance dungeon where players can form parties of four to five members to defeat bosses such as ‘Lacerien’ and ‘Tulkan’. Successful players can earn rewards including skill books up to hero grade, stigmata, and rare equipment blueprints.

In addition to new combat content, the update implements a ‘Growth Effect’ system. This system grants cumulative stats based on the combined growth stages of ‘transcendence’ and ‘weapon appearance’, ensuring that previous character investments remain useful regardless of grade. The update also expands the availability of AI mode in general dungeons.

To accommodate growing player numbers, Smilegate plans to launch a new world, ‘Celine’, on the 2nd of next month. This world will feature a dedicated matching group system that connects three different servers to facilitate seamless competition and cooperation. The company is also continuing various seasonal events and player benefit programs to support the game's initial success.
