Snapchat introduces AI features and targets B2B advertising

Snapchat is expanding its feature set and advertising reach through new artificial intelligence tools and a strategic shift toward B2B marketing.

For its Lens+ and Snapchat+ subscribers, the platform has introduced ‘Snap-to-song’, an AI feature that converts text messages into songs based on selected musical genres. Other AI-driven updates include ‘AI Photoshoot’ for correcting photo imperfections, ‘AI Remix’ for recreating images in new contexts, and enhanced AI text fonts and sticker styles.

On the business front, CEO Evan Spiegel has outlined goals for the company to reach profitability by 2027. To support this, Snapchat launched the ‘Spend Smarter’ campaign, specifically targeting B2B decision-makers. The initiative aims to convince companies to reallocate advertising budgets to the platform, leveraging Snapchat’s role as a discovery tool. The campaign is being rolled out across Instagram, TikTok, and Substack in the United States and the United Kingdom.
