Sónar Festival announces 2026 lineup amid cryptic messages

The Sónar electronic music festival in Barcelona has released its complete lineup for the 2026 edition, scheduled to take place from June 18 to 20 at Fira Gran Via. The announcement includes 65 new acts, featuring artists such as Prodigy, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, and Daniel Avery.

The festival's programming spans three days, with performances running from 5:00 PM to early morning hours. The diverse roster includes various electronic subgenres and experimental sounds, reflecting the festival's focus on music and digital culture.

This announcement follows a cryptic message posted by the festival on October 27, which stated, “Sónar is dead,” alongside the dates 1994–2026. While the message has sparked speculation regarding a potential rebranding, relocation, or the end of the event, the release of the 2026 lineup suggests the festival will continue its operations.
