SNCF promotes train and bicycle travel integration

SNCF Gares & Connexions and Transilien SNCF Voyageurs are working to facilitate travel by combining train trips with cycling. As partners of the ‘Mai à vélo’ initiative since 2023, these entities are encouraging year-round active mobility.

To support travelers, various services are being implemented, including secure bicycle parking, air pumps, and repair tools near stations, such as the secure parking deployed at Gare du Nord for Ile-de-France Mobilités. Additionally, Transilien SNCF Voyageurs provides resources like GPS routes and practical information to help travelers explore local heritage and territories autonomously.
