SNCF Réseau begins €1.3M rail replacement on Paris-Mulhouse line

SNCF Réseau has launched a €1.3 million infrastructure project on the Paris-Mulhouse railway line to replace approximately 4 km of rails and remove two switches near Port-d’Atelier-Amance in Haute-Saône.

The works, which began on August 17, are scheduled to continue until December 18. The project aims to improve traffic regularity while ensuring high levels of safety and infrastructure performance.

To minimize impact on the network, most work will be conducted during specific weekday windows: between 11:00 and 16:00 until August 28, and between 22:00 and 06:00 from August 31 to December 18. However, rail traffic will be fully suspended during the weekends of October 17-18 and October 24-25. Additionally, level crossing No. 204 in Port-d’Atelier-Amance will face continuous closure from September 28 to October 2, with further nighttime closures scheduled from October 21 to November 4.
