Snow Man achieves fifth consecutive first-week million-seller with ‘AMENITY’

The nine-member group Snow Man has achieved its seventh consecutive number one album on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking with their latest release, ‘AMENITY’. The album recorded first-week sales of 1.014 million copies, marking the group’s first million-seller of the current fiscal year.

This achievement makes Snow Man only the second artist in Oricon history to reach five consecutive first-week million-selling albums, following the rock band B’z. This is the first time such a feat has been accomplished in the Reiwa era, occurring 26 years and 7 months after B’z achieved it in 2000. Additionally, the group now ties with B’z for the most albums with consecutive first-week sales exceeding one million copies.

Snow Man has also set a new solo record for the highest number of consecutive albums with cumulative million-seller status, spanning from their first album, ‘Snow Mania S1’, to ‘AMENITY’.
