Snowflake announces new security partnership and automated data loading

Snowflake has expanded its strategic partnership with Wiz to help customers leverage Snowflake security data lakes. This integration allows organizations to store and analyze Wiz-generated security issues and inventory data in a centralized location. The collaboration aims to break down security silos by enabling incident response, custom security reporting, and analysis of business-critical security SLAs.

Additionally, Snowflake has announced the general availability of automated Snowpipe setup with Snowflake CoCo. This feature allows teams to transition from raw files in cloud storage to continuously loading Snowflake or Apache Iceberg tables using natural-language conversations. The automation handles file sampling, schema inference, and pipeline construction, reducing the need for manual data engineering to connect new data sources.
