The municipal government of Chihuahua approved a reform to expand "Espacios Cardioprotegidos", establishing 15 equipped sites across the capital to improve emergency response to sudden cardiac events.

In Guerrero, the state’s DIF agency, led by Liz Salgado Pineda, delivered food assistance to families in Coyuca de Benítez and promoted the “Infancia sin Violencia” campaign.

Security forces carried out several operations in the state: the state police and prosecutors detained five people in rehabilitation centers in Ciudad Juárez; three suspects were arrested for robberies in Chihuahua city; a brother duo was linked to the killing of a pet in Ciudad Juárez; and a man was charged with homicide after a partially burned body was found in the Chuvíscar canal.

The municipal council in Chihuahua also approved an animal‑protection regulation, while Ciudad Juárez officials expressed regret over the suspension of a park‑irrigation project after environmental groups intervened.

Investigators continue to search for a missing man in Janos, and a major criminal case remains open after 135 bodies from the Crematorio Plenitud in Ciudad Juárez remain unidentified, prompting a Red Alert and an Interpol notice for the crematory’s owner.
