The São Caetano City Council rejected the establishment of a disciplinary commission against government leader and councilman César Oliva (PSD). The complaint, filed by a resident, alleged a breach of parliamentary decorum regarding a social media post featuring a photo of his cat following surgery.

The motion was defeated with 18 votes against its admissibility. Oliva defended himself during the session, characterizing the accusation as a politically motivated attempt to undermine him that lacked legal substance or material evidence.
