São José de Ribamar and Niterói upgrade municipal school facilities

Mayor Dr. Julinho of São José de Ribamar announced a series of education reforms, including the renovation of nine municipal schools, the opening of 1,450 education‑sector jobs, and the launch of a teacher‑training programme. The administration also emphasized improvements in literacy, mathematics and continuous professional development for teachers.

In Niterói, the municipal education department conducted maintenance work on 16 schools during the July recess. Projects included roof replacements, structural reinforcement, bathroom renovations, installation of accessibility ramps, floor replacements in cafeterias, and comprehensive painting, aimed at providing safer and more comfortable learning environments for students and staff.
