São Paulo 2026 election poll shows Tarcísio de Freitas and Marina Silva leading

A Vox Brasil Opinião e Pesquisas survey conducted between August 11 and 13 reveals the leading candidates for the 2026 elections in São Paulo.

For the governorship, Tarcísio de Freitas holds a significant lead in the first round with 53.7% of the intended votes, while Fernando Haddad follows with 34%. In a potential second-round runoff, de Freitas maintains his advantage with 54.3% against Haddad's 35.2%. The survey has a margin of error of 2.55 percentage points.

Regarding the two Senate seats available in São Paulo, Environment Minister Marina Silva leads with 26.1% of the votes, closely followed by Planning Minister Simone Tebet at 25.5%. Other notable candidates include André do Prado with 21.5% and Ricardo Salles with 19.3%. The poll noted that 53.9% of voters were undecided or did not express an opinion on the Senate race.
