São Paulo announces municipal vacancies for artisans and school workers
The City of São Paulo has announced several municipal programs offering employment and participation opportunities for local residents.
Through the ‘Mãos e Mentes Paulistanas’ program, 15 vacancies are available for artisans to participate in the Festival da Agricultura Paulistana. The event will take place on November 14 across the South, East, and North regions of the city. Selected artisans must be registered with the program and meet specific qualification criteria. Applications are free and must be submitted online by October 11.
Additionally, the ‘Programa Operação Trabalho – POT Mães Guardiãs’ is offering 570 vacancies for women to work in municipal schools. Eligible applicants include unemployed mothers of students and women from the school community who have resided in the capital for at least two years. Selected participants will receive a monthly allowance of R$ 1,702.05 for a 30-hour work week, supporting activities such as school food security and preventing student dropout. Applications are open until October 13 via the Portal Cate.
