Brazilian authorities seize luxury car fleets linked to influencers
Authorities in Brazil have seized high-value luxury vehicles linked to prominent influencers as part of ongoing investigations into money laundering and criminal associations.
In São Paulo, the Civil Police seized a Lamborghini Urus Performante, valued at approximately R$ 4 million, connected to lawyer and influencer Deolane Bezerra. This action is part of ‘Operação Vérnix’, which investigates alleged money laundering involving the criminal organization PCC. The Public Ministry of São Paulo has also requested the judicial sale of four luxury vehicles belonging to Bezerra, valued between R$ 4.4 million and R$ 8.1 million, to prevent asset deterioration during the legal process. Bezerra has been in preventive detention since May 21, though her defense denies any links to criminal organizations.
Separately, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, police seized a luxury car fleet belonging to influencer Eduardo Razuk, estimated to be worth between R$ 15 million and R$ 20 million. The collection includes models such as a Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX and a BMW M4 Competition. Razuk and his brother, Rafael Razuk, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in illegal raffles, money laundering, and criminal association.
